Christmas Parade |
| |
December 8th, 2007. It was a cold and blustery day,
when a few hearty souls decorated the Pack 49 float
for our first ever participation in the PSO Christmas
Parade of Lights. Later that evening the boys screamed
and shouted "Merry Christmas" around the
parade route. (Zip:

for a job well done. Popcorn king was John Williams
who sold more than $1500.00 of that delicious stuff.
Thank you Darcy Carson for chairing the sale. (Zip:

Cake Auction |
| |
October 4, 2007. We had some creative and gross
(as in, "Oh no, not that!!!") cakes. And
everybody had some great fun. We'll never look at sushi
or a cat's litter box the same way again. (Zip:

| Spring
2007 All-Pack Campout |
| |
May 5-6, 2007 at Greenleaf State Park. Windy? Ha! Thats
what tent stakes were made for. The boys had plenty to
keep themselves busy and wet and muddy. Great weather,
thanks to Mr. Looney. We had another great meal from
the "Dos Juans" - can someone say "garlic"?
And the campfire was exactly what a campfire should have
been (what other pack has a guitar, violin, and saxophone
ensemble?). (Zip:
5.5 MB). |

March 10, 2007. Annual Pinewood Derby at the University

| "Slimer" Pack
Meeting (12-14-2006) |
| |
We sold over $18,000.00 in popcorn!!! We actually beat
the record we set last year. Qualifying Scouts received
prizes and cash. Best of all, our Cub Master, Mike Maxwell,
was SLIMED! He begged to be let out of his promise but
we wouldn't budge. Mr. Looney lined up and poured a big
bucket of goo on his head! (Zip:
4.2 MB). |

| Fall
2006 All-Pack Campout |
| |
November 11 -12, 2006 at Greenleaf State Park. Plenty
of activities during the day, superb food, a great campfire,
and a moving lesson in patriotism on Veteren's Day. Temperatures
reached well below freezing overnight: did we set a new
record for "toughing it"? (Zip:
10.1 MB). |
